Exhausted

Woo! I'm exhausted! I just got back from dance team at the high school and I have a ginormous cramp (giant and enormous put together) in my ribs. Ugh! However, I love dancing and my dance for hip-hop is SO much fun. I release so much energy from the start. Dancing is a really good workout for me since I stopped doing gymnastics.

I used to do gymnastics and I was on level 5. I could do back handsprings and stuff, but I knew I wouldn't like to spend all of my time there because if I did gymnastics, I couldn't do the play and that is something I really like doing.

My first competition is soon and I am ecstatic! Have you ever had that feeling that you are going to explode!?! (Maybe not.)Well that's how I feel right now and probably every waking moment until the competition. I am so excited!

Dance Team

Hey guys! Since my blog is about a 6th grade girl on her school dance team, I think that I should tell you about the dance team.

You have to try out for this dance team and 30-40 girls make it out of about a little more than 100. There are three types of dance.
  • Kick (have you ever heard of the Roccettes? Well that's kind of what we do except much more exciting.)
  • Hip-hop
  • Jazz

Well, I just wanted to fill you in. Bye!!!

Yesterday

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted for a few days. My friend slept over last night. I will refer to her as T.

T is on dance team with me, but she is only on Hip-hop. I am on hip-hop and kick. She's also a fantastic gymnast. We were partners in a fundraiser with another girl. The fundraiser was called Dancing With The Staff. Have you ever seen the show Dancing With The Stars? Well this fundraiser is just like that. Girls on dance team ask a teacher if they would like to perform a dance routine with them. Usually the show turns out to be hilarious! The gym teachers have performed and won for the past 2 years.

T and I went to the movies and a restaurant with a bunch of other people. We saw the movie The Squeakwel and it was ADORABLE!!!!! It was the second movie about a famous group of singing chipmunks that meet another soon to be famous group of female singing chipmunks. On a scale from 1-10 I would give it an 9 1/2. I definitely recommend it.

At the restaurant we went to, I got steak with a baked potato. It was sooooo good. The restaurant was called Margaritas.

T slept over and then, in the morning, T really wanted to make up a song, since my family has drums and a key board in the basement. We only got through a few phrases before she had to leave.

Well, that's why I couln't get to the computer yesterday. Bye!

Hannukkah

Happy Hanukkah! If you celebrate it. I'm not Jewish. However, my best friend is. (Since I don't want to reveal her name, I will just shorten it to A.)

A has 5 other siblings and there initials spell out dreams. How wonderful. It wasn't even planned out untill they noticed before their last baby was born, that it spelled out deams. When you add an R, you get dreams. Oops sorry for being your spelling teacher.

Okay, lets get back on track. So, A and the rest of her family invited my sister and I over to there grandmother's house. I got to light a candle on the manora! It was so much fun! I also got a presant! I got one of those question books to ask your friends. My sister got a Hannah Montana book! She was embarrassed, so, I happily switched with her. Am I nice or what?

Merry Christmas!

Hey guys! Guess what? It's Christmas! My day seemed to have gone by very slooooow. That's becuase it was filled with many events. Here is my schedule.
  1. I woke up at 7:00 (well not exactly 7:00, but around that time)
  2. Opened my presants
  3. Dad left
  4. Cousins came over for breakfeast. (The girl in the purple pants and The boy in the tweed hat. Hint. Hint. Check 'em out.)
  5. Went to my aunt's house for Christmas lunch
  6. Went home for a minute to drop off and pick up things
  7. Went to The boy in the tweed hat and the girl in the purple pants' house for Christmas dinner. (We played this money game and my 5 year old sister and my aunt won the whole pot!) Boy, am I jealous!
  8. Finally, I went back home and started writing this post.

Pretty full day, huh? Oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell you 'bout the movie The girl in the purple pants, The girl in the chestnut uggs, my 5 year old sister and I made. It was about a girl who didn't know how to skip, and when she finally learns, she can't stop! We didn't finish it yet, though.

I would tell you what I got for Christmas, but that's probably the last thing you care about. Alright, well, that's about it. See ya!
